Leadwin Doors was a family business built from the vision of two brothers, and thrived in the suburbs of Vancouver, BC. Leadwin was initially lured into an engagement with a US M&A firm which promised immediate results and a competitive multiple. When there was little to no action in the months and years following, leading to the end of the contract with no activity , Leadwin was feeling very doubtful about their decision to sell. With a loss in confidence, Leadwin hesitantly took a meeting with True North. After listening to True North’s sales process, proven track record, and commitment to being “hands on” from contract to post close, Leadwin was able to rekindle their vision of retirement.
